Projects

The Mansfield Heritage Museum below is a completed project, delivered for Mansfield Shire Council in June 2026. The scenarios further down the page are indicative: modelled on real equipment and typical Victorian tariffs to show how we size a system and where the payback comes from. They are not guarantees, and they are not based on a named customer.

Mansfield Heritage Museum

Mansfield Shire Council · Mansfield, Victoria

A new rammed-earth museum in the Station Precinct redevelopment. Collections need climate control around the clock, so the system was sized to carry the overnight load, and to hold the building up through an outage. That matters more in regional Victoria.

How we approach every project

Engineered from data

Every scenario starts from a load profile and tariff, not a brochure spec.

Honest about trade-offs

We show the assumptions behind each payback figure and where they could shift.

Sized to fit

We recommend the smallest system that does the job, not the biggest we can sell.

Indicative scenarios

Each card shows the inputs (load, tariff, system) and the logic. Figures are modelled, not measured.

Warehouse, outer Melbourne (indicative)

High daytime load on a demand-charge tariff. Rooftop solar plus a commercial battery, sized to shave the monthly demand peak: showing how demand-charge reduction drives the payback.

Cold storage / refrigeration (indicative)

Continuous load with a critical backup need. Battery sized for both load shifting and ride-through on refrigeration circuits.

Home with existing solar, Melbourne (indicative)

Adds a FOX ESS battery to capture daytime solar instead of exporting at low feed-in rates, on average household usage.
