This Rebate Disclaimer applies to any reference on this website, in a quote, or in any other E3 Energy communication to government rebates, incentives or subsidies, including but not limited to the federal Small-scale Renewable Energy Scheme (STCs), the Cheaper Home Batteries Program, Solar Victoria battery and solar rebates or loans, and any other Commonwealth, State or Territory incentive scheme (together, “Rebates”).
Any Rebate amount, discount, or saving referenced on the Site, in a quote, in our Savings Calculator, or in marketing material is an estimate only, based on the scheme rules, rebate values, and eligibility criteria in effect at the time the estimate was provided. Rebate values, eligibility criteria, caps and availability are set by government and scheme administrators (such as the Clean Energy Regulator and Solar Victoria), not by E3 Energy, and may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice, including between the date of a quote and the date of installation.
Eligibility for any Rebate depends on factors specific to you and your property, which may include (without limitation): your location and electricity distribution network; whether your home or business is connected to the grid; household income or property criteria (where applicable to a scheme); the battery or system brand, model and capacity installed; whether the installation is carried out by a Clean Energy Council–accredited installer; compliance with scheme technical and documentation requirements; and whether you have previously claimed a Rebate for the same property or system. E3 Energy does not guarantee that you will be eligible for, or receive, any Rebate, even where a quote has been prepared on the assumption that a Rebate applies.
Where applicable, we will use reasonable efforts to assist with the documentation, registration or assignment of a Rebate as part of your installation (for example, creating and assigning Small-scale Technology Certificates, or submitting required paperwork to a scheme administrator on your behalf, where you authorise us to do so). However, final approval of any Rebate rests solely with the relevant government body or scheme administrator, not with E3 Energy. Processing times for Rebates are determined by the relevant scheme administrator and are outside our control.
Any price quoted to you that assumes a Rebate will apply is conditional on that Rebate being available and approved at the value assumed. If a Rebate is reduced, delayed, refused, or withdrawn for any reason outside our control (including a change in scheme rules between quote and installation, or a finding that you or the installation are not eligible), the amount payable by you may increase by the value of the unavailable Rebate, and we will notify you of any such change as soon as we become aware of it.
Nothing on this website, in a quote, or in this disclaimer constitutes financial, taxation or legal advice. Rebates may have tax implications, and scheme rules can change. We recommend you confirm current eligibility criteria directly with the relevant scheme administrator (for example the Clean Energy Regulator at cleanenergyregulator.gov.au or Solar Victoria at solar.vic.gov.au) and, where relevant, seek independent financial or taxation advice before relying on any estimated Rebate amount.
Any “indicative scenarios,” case examples, or worked examples shown on the Site (for example illustrative Melbourne, Sydney or Queensland examples) are hypothetical and for illustration only. They are not customer case studies, do not represent a guaranteed outcome for your property, and any Rebate amount shown within them is an example only.
We may update this disclaimer from time to time to reflect changes to government Rebate schemes. The current version will always be available on our website, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly.
